ERGfit specialises in improving your technique through the use of video analysis & one on one coaching. Instant feedback will aid in the learning process to vastly improve your skills, develop more power, reduce your average splits per 500m & acheive personal bests in erg tests.

 

On Water Rowing- Private Coaching

Do you currently row at a club or school or would you like to learn how to row out on the water? Professional coaching from our ERGfit staff is the answer to improve your technique. We are experienced in coaching beginners to Australian Champions in both sculling & sweep boats.

 

School Group Bookings

Group bookings of 10 - 25 where we structure a program to suit your needs. Great for schools both primary & secondary with an informative session including muscle use, biomechanics, energy systems & stretching routines together with a team relay race to finish the session.

 

Sporting & Corporate Group Bookings

Group bookings of 10 - 25. Ideal for team bonding with a low impact, intense cardio workout. Finish the session with a team relay race for bragging rights. Clubs training at ERGfit include:

Personal Training Sessions
If group classes are not your scene, then one on one personal training sessions are the answer. These can include but not limited to outdoor activities, on water rowing sessions, stroke correction using the C2 rowing machine, race preparation & goal setting.

Indoor Racing/Testing

Large screen in theatre style room provides an exciting atmosphere for Indoor Racing/Regattas. Great form of motivation in a competitive environment. Ideal for school or club selection testing with 19 Concept2 Model D's available using the venue racing software as per the Australian Indoor Champs!

Your Personal Concept2 Logbook. What is it?

The Concept 2 logbook is your personal online training diary. After every session at ERGfit, we record your total time spent on the rowing machine and your distance travelled. To view your personal logbook open the logbook page.

You will need to enter your personal user name & password. Please email info@ergfit.com.au if you have forgotten your password or have not received it & we will send it to you. Check out your total metres travelled & average time/500m. How far will you row this season?

Throughout the year, ERGfit may conduct special timed distances for our members to work against the clock to get an Australian & World Online Ranking in your age group. The ranked sessions are outlined below.

  • 500 metres
  • 2000 metres
  • 5000 metres
  • 6000 metres
  • 4 minutes
  • 30 minutes
  • 21,097 metres (half marathon)

The above race pieces are recorded and can be "ranked". By ranking your workout gives you an automatic world online ranking. This means that your score can be compared to other users on the Concept2 rowing machine worldwide. Race against other rowers around the globe! It is an excellent tool for motivation & encouragement & has the ability to help you with personal goal setting.
